M.A KANNADA

Eligibility:

  • Candidates who have passed the B.A. degree with Kannada as one of the major subjects must have secured 60% in the subject.
  • Candidates who have completed B.A de­gree with Kannada as one of the optional subjects must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Selection:

  • Candidates are selected by the Department of Kannada, Bengaluru City University and the College Management.

Research center in Applied Kannada:

  • 2014 onwards P.G. Kannada department is upgraded to Research Centre in Kannada.

M.Sc. Mathematics

Eligibility:

  • Candidates who have passed the B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as one of the major subjects and have secured more than 50% in the subject for all the three years taken together and have passed the B.Sc. degree with 50% of the marks are eligible for admission.

Selection:

  •  Candidates are selected by the Department of Mathematics, Bengaluru City University and the College.

Research center in Applied Mathematics:

  • The Post graduate department of Mathematics has been recognized as a Research Centre in Applied Mathematics by BangaloreUniversity in 2005.
  • The centre conducts workshops in emerging fields of math­ematics and arranges monthly seminars /special lectures by eminent scientists.
  • The centre has two ap­proved PhD guides under whom students can register for PhD.
