MESACS College Library established in the year 1956 to cater the need of learning fraternity of the institution. With a treasure trove of 83,006 books, we can proudly claim to have one of the best and largest collections of books among undergraduate colleges of Bengaluru. From autobiographies to thrillers, reference books and so on. Our library also has the distinction of subscribing to more than 21 print Journals, 25 Print Magazines and 15 newspapers catering to diverse interests. A large number of reputed academic e-resources subscribed through N-LIST from INFLIBNET server are also available for staff and students interested in keeping abreast with latest developments in their domain.

  • To avail library facilities, students are required to present their identity cards.
  • Identity cards are not transferrable.
  • Students are requested to scan the barcode printed on their ID cards on every visit to record their check-in and check-out.
  • Library users should switch off their mobile/cell phones.
  • Students are informed to use property counter for their personal belongings only when they are in the library (do not keep valuable items).
  • Any kind of eatables are not allowed.
  • Group discussions are not allowed and should maintain silence.
  • Students are allowed to borrow 2 books in different subjects for 2 weeks.
  • Students should check the pages and condition of the books before borrowing them.
  • After reference, please leave the books on the reading table.
  • Reference books will be allowed to borrow for a shorter period of time (2-3 hours).
  • If a student defaces or damages the library books, they should replace or pay the present cost of the book.
  • Students are informed to use the internet facility only for academic purposes.
  • While browsing, playing games, watching movies, and chatting through social networks are not allowed.
